SILENCE ET LIBERTÉ Drones, synths and epic sound walls emerging from a distant fog. Meditative, peaceful and as if from the inside of an iceberg. Sounds that aspire to the light. An outstanding, deep and imaginative album with subtle electronics. Apart from "Day" by Christopher Hipgrave (homenormal.bandcamp.com/album/day), for me it's the strongest album in the catalogue of Home Normal. Favorite track: Isostatic Uplift.

Egg Wizard Gorgeous drifting drone magnum opus, culminating in the ecstatic white out of Magnetic Striping. Almost a "sleep" album, more a "waking up" one? Singular loveliness in pale smeared textures. Favorite track: Magnetic Striping.

Asa Dok could be 5 times longer Favorite track: Orogenic Uplift.

Odile A. O. Strik / Evening of Light From a while ago: Continental Drift by Faures (2014, Home Normal) is a gorgeous floating dronework. It definitely touches upon its theme with a suite of shifting and grinding tectonics. But the lighter side of the spectrum is equally rich, with subtle hisses, gentle melodies, and aural whiteouts. A delicate piece of art. Favorite track: Magnetic Striping.

Dotflac In this album, Faures takes us into the ever-changing earth's crust.

Noisy synthesizers and ethereal strings picture the emergence of submerged mountains in Asthenospheric Movement(s), soft synths and a light piano melody remind the heights of Himalaya in Orogenic Uplift, while distorted instruments collide like continental plates in Magnetic Striping.

A mind travel offering an interesting contrast between aerial compositions and underground suggested cataclysms.

Totally seducing. Favorite track: Asthenospheric Movement I.
